Why this matters for exam forms. Portals routinely demand a category certificate, mark sheet or declaration as a PDF under a fixed size. A PDF exported from a phone scan is usually several times over the limit. It is the same problem the photo resizer solves, one step later in the form.

How do I compress a PDF to 200 KB?

Upload it, set the target, and the tool re-encodes the images inside at progressively lower quality until the file fits. It shows you what it found first, so you know whether compression will help at all.

Why does it say my PDF cannot be compressed much?

Because the size is not in images. A PDF of text and vector graphics is already compact — squeezing it gains almost nothing. We tell you that rather than handing back a file that is 3% smaller.

Will the text still be readable?

For a scanned document, quality drops as the target gets tighter. The tool warns you when it had to reduce page resolution, and you should open the result before uploading it.

Is my document uploaded?
