Says where each size came from

Every preset carries a source link and states whether a person has checked it against the notification. Published charts contradict each other on UPSSSC PET, RRB NTPC, GATE and more — where they do, we show you the contradiction.

Writes DPI into the file

Browsers stamp 96 DPI into canvas JPEGs and some portals reject on it. This writes 200 DPI into the JFIF header, and a pHYs chunk for PNG.

Clears the minimum cleanly

When a compressed file lands under the floor, blank JPEG comment data lifts it over and the pixels stay untouched. Some tools inject random noise into your photo until the byte count rises.

Questions

Is my photo uploaded to a server?
No. Everything runs in your browser with the canvas API. There is no upload, no account and no tracking, and the page keeps working with the network switched off. The site also ships a Content-Security-Policy of connect-src 'none', so the browser itself blocks this page from sending anything anywhere — the claim is enforced, not just promised.
Why does my file need to be above a minimum size?
Most portals enforce a band — 20 KB to 50 KB, say — and reject anything on either side of it. A clean scan of a thin signature routinely lands under the floor. This tool lifts it over by appending blank JPEG comment segments that decoders skip, so the image itself is never touched.
Why does DPI matter?
Browsers stamp 96 DPI into canvas JPEGs. Several portals read that field and reject the file even when the pixel dimensions are right. This tool writes the DPI you ask for into the JFIF header for JPEG, and a pHYs chunk for PNG — 200 by default.
How do I know these sizes are correct?
You should not take them on trust. Every preset states whether a person has checked it against the notification and links to the authority that publishes it. Where published charts disagree with each other — and they do, on UPSSSC PET, RRB NTPC, GATE and others — we show the disagreement rather than quietly picking one.
