How it works

Exam-ready photo and signature in three steps. No editing skills, no software, no upload.

1

Pick your exam

Choose from 129 presets. 35 have been checked against the official notification; every other page says it has not. Pixels, KB band and DPI load with the preset. Not listed? Type your own numbers.

2

Upload and adjust

Drag to position your face, pinch or scroll to zoom. Signatures get one-slider background clean-up. Add your name and the date if the board wants them printed on the photo.

3

Check and download

You get exact dimensions, a file inside the KB band, correct DPI — and a pre-flight report on blur, background and face position before you upload anything.

Questions

What photo size is required for KPSC Karnataka?
The Karnataka Gazetted Probationers 2026–27 notification, paragraph 3.15, says the photograph must not exceed 200 KB and the signature must be within 70 KB, both JPEG/JPG. It prints no pixel size and no minimum. 200 × 250 and 140 × 80 are a default crop, not KPSC’s rule.
Is there a minimum file size for KPSC Karnataka?
No. Karnataka PSC states a ceiling of 200 KB and no minimum. A smaller file is not rejected for being small, and this tool does not pad one up to a floor the notice does not set.
Are my photos uploaded anywhere?
No. The resizing runs inside your browser using the standard canvas API. Nothing is sent to a server, there is no account, and the page keeps working offline once loaded.
Can I set the DPI?
Yes, and it defaults to 200 DPI here. Browsers write 96 DPI into canvas JPEGs, and some portals read that field and reject the file even when the pixel dimensions are correct. The value is written into the JFIF header of the file you download.
Why do other sites list a different size for KPSC Karnataka?
Resolved against the Karnataka Gazetted Probationers 2026–27 final notification, paragraph 3.15 (page 6). The photograph must not exceed 200 KB. The signature must be within 70 KB. Both are JPEG/JPG. No pixel size and no minimum file size are stated. The old bands of 30–100 KB and 20–50 KB are not in the notification. 200 × 250 and 140 × 80 are a default crop, not KPSC’s rule. We would rather show you the disagreement than pick one and sound certain.
