Published sizes disagreed. We checked the notification.Resolved against the MPSC instructions for filling the application form (page 1). The PDF is dated 21 May 2021 and is still the file the application portal hosts; no later photo specification was found on the Commission site. Photograph: 3.5 cm wide by 4.5 cm high, JPG/JPEG, maximum 50 KB, no minimum stated. Signature: the same PDF labels the box “Photograph size” but the dimensions are 3.5 cm by 1.5 cm, JPG/JPEG, maximum 50 KB, no minimum. The old signature ceiling of 20 KB is below the real one, and the old 20 KB photograph floor is not in the instructions. 276 × 354 and 276 × 118 are those centimetre sizes at 200 DPI — a conversion, not a printed pixel figure.

How it works

Exam-ready photo and signature in three steps. No editing skills, no software, no upload.

1

Pick your exam

Choose from 129 presets. 35 have been checked against the official notification; every other page says it has not. Pixels, KB band and DPI load with the preset. Not listed? Type your own numbers.

2

Upload and adjust

Drag to position your face, pinch or scroll to zoom. Signatures get one-slider background clean-up. Add your name and the date if the board wants them printed on the photo.

3

Check and download

You get exact dimensions, a file inside the KB band, correct DPI — and a pre-flight report on blur, background and face position before you upload anything.

Questions

What photo size is required for MPSC?
The MPSC application instructions state centimetres, not pixels. The photograph is 3.5 cm wide by 4.5 cm high, JPG/JPEG, and not more than 50 KB. The signature is 3.5 cm by 1.5 cm, JPG/JPEG, and not more than 50 KB. No minimum file size is stated. 276 × 354 and 276 × 118 are those sizes at 200 DPI — a conversion, not a number in the PDF. The instructions file is dated 21 May 2021 and is still the one the application portal hosts. The background is solid blue, green or red, not white.
Is there a minimum file size for MPSC?
No. Maharashtra PSC states a ceiling of 50 KB and no minimum. A smaller file is not rejected for being small, and this tool does not pad one up to a floor the notice does not set.
Are my photos uploaded anywhere?
No. The resizing runs inside your browser using the standard canvas API. Nothing is sent to a server, there is no account, and the page keeps working offline once loaded.
Can I set the DPI?
Yes, and it defaults to 200 DPI here. Browsers write 96 DPI into canvas JPEGs, and some portals read that field and reject the file even when the pixel dimensions are correct. The value is written into the JFIF header of the file you download.
Why do other sites list a different size for MPSC?
Resolved against the MPSC instructions for filling the application form (page 1). We would rather show you the disagreement than pick one and sound certain.
