Published sizes disagreed. We checked the notification.Resolved against the UPPSC OTR scanning guide (one page). Photograph: 5 cm wide by 6 cm high, 200 DPI, not more than 50 KB. Signature: 6 cm wide by 3 cm high, 200 DPI, not more than 30 KB. No pixel figure and no minimum file size are stated. 394 × 472 and 472 × 236 are those centimetre sizes at 200 DPI. The table heading says “less than” 50 KB and 30 KB while the numbered step says “not more than”, so the preset stops at 49 KB and 29 KB. Capital letters are not accepted. The old 180 × 216 px photograph is not 5 × 6 cm at 200 DPI.

How it works

Exam-ready photo and signature in three steps. No editing skills, no software, no upload.

1

Pick your exam

Choose from 129 presets. 35 have been checked against the official notification; every other page says it has not. Pixels, KB band and DPI load with the preset. Not listed? Type your own numbers.

2

Upload and adjust

Drag to position your face, pinch or scroll to zoom. Signatures get one-slider background clean-up. Add your name and the date if the board wants them printed on the photo.

3

Check and download

You get exact dimensions, a file inside the KB band, correct DPI — and a pre-flight report on blur, background and face position before you upload anything.

Questions

What photo size is required for UPPSC?
394 × 472 pixels as a JPEG up to 49 KB, with a signature of 472 × 236 pixels up to 29 KB. These are the sizes we currently list; confirm them in the notification published by Uttar Pradesh PSC.
Is there a minimum file size for UPPSC?
No. Uttar Pradesh PSC states a ceiling of 49 KB and no minimum. A smaller file is not rejected for being small, and this tool does not pad one up to a floor the notice does not set.
Are my photos uploaded anywhere?
No. The resizing runs inside your browser using the standard canvas API. Nothing is sent to a server, there is no account, and the page keeps working offline once loaded.
Can I set the DPI?
Yes, and it defaults to 200 DPI here. Browsers write 96 DPI into canvas JPEGs, and some portals read that field and reject the file even when the pixel dimensions are correct. The value is written into the JFIF header of the file you download.
Why do other sites list a different size for UPPSC?
Resolved against the UPPSC OTR scanning guide (one page). We would rather show you the disagreement than pick one and sound certain.
