How it works
Exam-ready photo and signature in three steps. No editing skills, no software, no upload.
1
Pick your exam
Choose from 128 presets and the required pixels, KB band and DPI load automatically. Not listed? Type your own numbers.
2
Upload and adjust
Drag to position your face, pinch or scroll to zoom. Signatures get one-slider background clean-up. Add your name and the date if the board wants them printed on the photo.
3
Check and download
You get exact dimensions, a file inside the KB band, correct DPI — and a pre-flight report on blur, background and face position before you upload anything.

How to write your name and date on an exam photograph
UPSC, NTA and several state boards require your name and the date printed on the photo itself. What the format is, where it goes, and why forms are rejected without it.

Questions
What photo size is required for TNPSC?
275 × 354 pixels as a JPEG between 20 KB and 50 KB, with a signature of 275 × 118 pixels between 10 KB and 20 KB. These are the sizes we currently list; confirm them in the notification published by Tamil Nadu PSC.
My file is smaller than 20 KB. Will it be rejected?
Yes. 20 KB is a floor, not a suggestion, and portals reject files under it exactly as they reject oversized ones. This tool lifts an undersized file over the floor by appending blank JPEG comment data, which decoders ignore. The picture itself is untouched — some tools inject random noise into the image instead, which visibly degrades it.
Are my photos uploaded anywhere?
No. The resizing runs inside your browser using the standard canvas API. Nothing is sent to a server, there is no account, and the page keeps working offline once loaded.
Can I set the DPI?
Yes, and it defaults to 200 DPI here. Browsers write 96 DPI into canvas JPEGs, and some portals read that field and reject the file even when the pixel dimensions are correct. The value is written into the JFIF header of the file you download.
Why do other sites list a different size for TNPSC?
Some charts list 150 × 200 px. TNPSC changed its OTR upload rules recently. We would rather show you the disagreement than pick one and sound certain.
