1. Agreement
By using this site you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use it.
2. What you may do
Use the tool freely, for as many files as you like, for your own applications or on behalf of others — including commercially, such as at an internet café or a photo studio. There is no fee, no account and no watermark. You retain every right in the images you process; we acquire none, because we never receive them.
Please do not attempt to disrupt the site for other people, or present a copy of it as an official government service.
3. Sizes are not guaranteed — read this one
This deserves plain language, because it is the part that can cost you an application.
The dimensions and file-size limits on this site are transcribed from published sources. Most of them have not been confirmed against the original notification, and every such preset is labelled unverified on its own page rather than hidden away here. Widely-copied size charts contradict each other on real exams — UPSSSC PET, RRB NTPC, GATE and others — which means some of the numbers in circulation are simply wrong. Where we know sources disagree, we show you the disagreement instead of picking a side.
Requirements also change between recruitment cycles, and sometimes between regions or posts within the same exam. A preset that was right last year may be wrong today.
Treat this tool as a way to hit a specification precisely once you know it — not as the authority on what that specification is. The authority is the notification published by the recruiting body, and every exam page links to it. Our how we check sizes page explains how to read one.
4. Not affiliated with anyone
PixFit is an independent tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to SSC, UPSC, IBPS, NTA, any State Public Service Commission, any High Court, any Railway Recruitment Board, any police recruitment body or any other government department. Exam names are used only to identify which specification a preset corresponds to, and remain the property of their respective bodies.
5. Provided as is
The site is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every browser or device.
6. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your use of this site — including a rejected application, a missed deadline, a lost examination cycle, or loss of data or profit — whether or not we were advised such loss was possible.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
7. Availability
This is a free tool with no uptime commitment. We may change, suspend or discontinue it, or any preset within it, at any time and without notice.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law provisions. Courts at the operator's principal place of business have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
9. Changes
We may revise these terms. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed, and continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the revised version.
