Published sizes disagreed. We checked the notification.Resolved against the NEET-PG 2025 information bulletin. The photograph checklist is page 110: colour JPG/JPEG, white background, less than 80 KB, no minimum and no pixel size. The signature camera method says draw a 3.5 cm × 1.5 cm box (page 110) and resize the image to 20–100 KB (page 111). The scan method marks the same box (page 111) and says less than 80 KB at 200 DPI (page 112). This preset uses 20–79 KB so both sentences are met, and stops at 79 KB because a file of exactly 80 KB fails “less than 80 KB”. 276 × 118 is that box at 200 DPI. The left thumb impression (page 113) is the same box and the same less-than-80 KB ceiling, with no minimum. The standing NBEMS Image Upload Instructions (https://nbe.edu.in/IB/Image%20Upload%20Instructions.pdf) repeat these bands. The 2026 bulletin file was not on nbe.edu.in when this was checked; the opened exam-specific bulletin is the 2025 edition.
