NEET UG
photo & signature resizer

Set to the file sizes National Testing Agency asks for. It publishes no pixel dimension, so the KB band is the rule — we hit it exactly, at 200 DPI, on your device.

Published sizes disagreed. We checked the notification.Resolved against the bulletin. NTA states file sizes only: the NEET (UG) 2026 bulletin (page 21) gives the photograph as 10 to 200 KB and the signature as 10 to 100 KB, and prints no pixel dimension anywhere. Charts publishing exact pixels for NEET are quoting something the bulletin does not say. The bulletin also contradicts itself on finger and thumb impressions: page 21 says 10 to 200 KB, page 22 says 50 to 300 KB.

How it works

Exam-ready photo and signature in three steps. No editing skills, no software, no upload.

1

Pick your exam

Choose from 129 presets. 35 have been checked against the official notification; every other page says it has not. Pixels, KB band and DPI load with the preset. Not listed? Type your own numbers.

2

Upload and adjust

Drag to position your face, pinch or scroll to zoom. Signatures get one-slider background clean-up. Add your name and the date if the board wants them printed on the photo.

3

Check and download

You get exact dimensions, a file inside the KB band, correct DPI — and a pre-flight report on blur, background and face position before you upload anything.

Questions

What photo size is required for NEET UG?
National Testing Agency states a file size and nothing else: a JPEG between 10 KB and 200 KB, and a signature between 10 KB and 100 KB. Its bulletin prints no pixel dimension for any upload, so any exact pixel size published for NEET UG — including the 275 × 354 we crop to — is somebody's conversion rather than a rule. Meet the KB band and keep the face filling about 80% of the frame.
My file is smaller than 10 KB. Will it be rejected?
Yes. 10 KB is a floor, not a suggestion, and portals reject files under it exactly as they reject oversized ones. This tool lifts an undersized file over the floor by appending blank JPEG comment data, which decoders ignore. The picture itself is untouched — some tools inject random noise into the image instead, which visibly degrades it.
Are my photos uploaded anywhere?
No. The resizing runs inside your browser using the standard canvas API. Nothing is sent to a server, there is no account, and the page keeps working offline once loaded.
Can I set the DPI?
Yes, and it defaults to 200 DPI here. Browsers write 96 DPI into canvas JPEGs, and some portals read that field and reject the file even when the pixel dimensions are correct. The value is written into the JFIF header of the file you download.
Why do other sites list a different size for NEET UG?
Resolved against the bulletin. We would rather show you the disagreement than pick one and sound certain.
