What the stored rules flag

Taken from the preset that was checked. This is not a portal error message, and it is not acceptance.

Published sizes disagreed. We checked the notification.Resolved against the notice. SSC prints no pixel size for any exam — we read five 2026 notices end to end and found zero. Clause 9.6 (page 18) states the signature as "about 6.0 cm (width) x 2.0 cm (height)", JPEG, 10 to 20 KB, and clause 9.4 says the portal photographs you itself. The 140 × 60 px figure copied across the web is IBPS's number; 236 × 79 px is 6 × 2 cm at 100 DPI.

Questions

What should I line up before uploading for SSC CGL?
The checklist on this page: size, file size, format and background for each upload the preset stores, including a thumb impression or declaration where the preset has one. It cites the notice that was checked and links into the resizer with that preset loaded.
Were these specs checked against the notice?
Yes. They were checked on 2026-08-31, page 18. The date and the notification link are on this page.
Does a file that matches this list get accepted?
No. The list is the bands that were checked. A blurred photograph, a background the notice did not ask for, or a signature in the wrong hand can still be refused. Make the file in the resizer, then compare it with your own notice.
